In Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Petropavlovsk to continue works for reconstruction of heat networks within the frames of state program of infrastructure development “Nurly Zhol”.
Reconstruction is being implemented according to signed in 2016 tri-lateral agreement on implementation of projects for modernization of district heating networks in Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Petropavlovsk between European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Ministry of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC CAEPCO within the frames of state program of infrastructure development “Nurly Zhol”.
Works are dedicated to enhancement of reliability of heat supply and efficiency of utilization of heat energy as well as reduction of losses during heat transmission. Implementation of the project will also improve environment standards by virtue of reduction of emissions as the result of coal consumption economy that will be related with reduction of heat losses during transmission. The reconstruction plan is estimated for 2016–2020 with total budget of KZT 25,95 bln. At the moment works for implementation of plan for modernization of networks under “Nurly Zhol” program conducted with any breaks.
Projects in Pavlodar and Ekibastuz
Reconstruction of heat networks in two cities being continued since 2016 and will be completed in 2018. For modernization of district heating networks of Pavlodar and Ekibastuz KZT 13,94 bln will be directed.
Within the frames of the project in Pavlodar replacement of mineral coat isolation to PPU at heat main pipeline #22 at the section with length 1,9 km was done. It is planned to complete similar works at heat main pipeline #37 at the section with length of 2,1 km in September of current year.
In Ekibastuz since April of current year heat main pipeline #9 with length of 2 km is under construction. Currently works are at the final stage. One of large scaled activities within the project in Ekibastuz is reconstruction of heat main pipeline #7.
According to the reconstruction plan construction of block heating units will be done in Ekibastuz. Also activities for relocation of heating networks from private territories are conducted in the city. Thanks to EBRD investments and funds allocated within the frames of program “Nurly Zhol” there is a possibility to settle important issue of separation of existing joint pipelaying of heat and water supply networks.
Projects in Petropavlovsk
More than seven kilometers of heat networks of Petropavlovsk will be modernized within the frames of state program “Nurly Zhol”. It is also planned to reconstruct two main pipelines and one section of distribution networks. Total volume of works under this direction in 2017 will amount to 7,05 km of pipes. In total for these purposes it is planned to direct KZT 3,884 bln.
Implementation of all activities will lead to increase of reliability of heat networks, reduction of over normative losses and existing depreciation of equipment and correspondingly will be achieved main target – uninterrupted heat supply of consumers during heating season.
