Development

In June of 1997 by results of the tender organized by the State Property Committee, CHP-2 and CHP- 3 in Pavlodar city were acquired.

In June of 2002 99.35 % of shares of Pavlodar regional power networks were acquired. 

April - July 2004 «CAPEC», JSC became one of the shareholders of «Eximbank Kazakhstan», JSC by acquisition of 81,8182 % of shares.

2005 Pavlodar Heat Distribution Networks were purchased (partially main power networks of Pavlodar city).

2007 Ekibastuz CHP and Ekibastuz Heat Distribution Networks were purchased.

2007 North Kazakhstan energy complex consisting of Petropavlovsk CHP-2, North Kazakhstan regional electric networks and heat  networks of Petropavlovsk city were acquired.

2007 «Central-Asian Power Energy Company», JSC became one of principal shareholders of «APF «AMANAT Kazakhstan», JSC by purchasing of 99, 9 % of ordinary shares.

2008 Retail Electricity Company in Astana – «Astanaenergosbyt», LLP was purchased.

On August 8, 2008 «Central-Asian Electric Power Corporation», JSC («CAEPCO», JSC) was established, which is subsidiary energy holding, which combines energy enterprises for generation, distribution and sales of electric and heat energy.

March 26, 2009 the Subscription agreement on placement of shares of  «Central-Asian Electric Power Corporation», JSC was signed with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

On April 25, 2011 Subscription agreement for placement of ordinary shares was signed between «CAEPCO», JSC and Islamic Infrastructure Fund.

In April 2011 «CAPEC», JSC as part of consortium of investors entered into share capital of «Eurasian Pension Fund», JSC. At the same time the decision was made on merging «Pension Fund «Amanat Kazakhstan», JSC and «Eurasian Pension Fund», JSC.

On August 3, 2011 The new «Pension Fund «ASTANA», JSC was created on the basis of merging «Pension Fund «Amanat Kazakhstan», JSC and «Eurasian Pension Fund», JSC. «CAPEC», JSC became shareholder of «Pension Fund «ASTANA», JSC with a stake of 53,5% of shares.

2013. CAEPCO JSC sold a part of shares of "Caustic" JSC to NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

On June 2014 "APF" ASTANA " JSC was transformed into" Investment House "Astana-Invest".

On July 2014 "CAPEC" JSC transferred 51.59% of the shares of "Akmolinskaya EDC " JSC to the authorized capital of "CAEPCO" JSC.

2017. "CAPEC" JSC has been operating for 20 years in Kazakhstan. Since its inception, the Company has increased its assets and improved performance.
